The LOPA Method

Content and Features

This course is designed for professionals who participate or have participated in HAZOP studies and need to understand the LOPA tool. It focuses on two main applications:

1. Risk assessment, as a useful tool to refine the risk characterization provided by risk matrices or other qualitative methods.

2. SIL assignment for Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF).
